Hi, my name is Suzi Percy Witherow Rosenberg.

I’m an amateur genealogist, and I’m creating this blog as an online, searchable vessel for the vignettes that tell the stories of my extended family and the ancestors who came before us. It’s meant to compliment and expand upon the typical information that is found in a persons family tree.

This blog contains the little stories that help us get to know the people who came before us; to discover who they were as persons and what their lives were really like, sometimes from memories and stories that have been recorded, sometimes from historical research and surmise, sometimes from their own words.

If you have access to Ancestry.com, I have a public family tree there (“Percy Dunshee McKinnis Jones Rosenberg Bittner Family Tree”), where you will find the simple facts and relationships of our extended family members, but little in the way of their stories. That’s where this blog comes into play – to fill in the gaps.

SharingMyFamilyStories.com is dedicated to those who – for whatever reason – are looking for my family’s stories; but even more importantly, it’s dedicated to my children and grandchildren, and their descendants who will be looking to discover their family history for themselves in the future.
